From $1.5million to 0: Cynthia Morgan now Battling Depression after losing it all to Psquare Records

Where is Cynthia Morgan? that's the question the world has been asking, the one-time dancehall queen who graced Nigerian music scene with electrifying performance, outstanding delivery and lyrical perfection in most of her project released under the then Northside/Square records, a recording company owned by Psquare's elder brother Jude Engees Okoye, but after those projects that earned many award nominations, the dancehall fell off the raider and nothing was heard from her again. Fans thought it was down to the rift that causes separation between the Okoye's brothers that led Cynthia morgan not churning out projects like before, but it seems that wasn't the reason.

Late last year Cynthia appeared on a live show to explain why she has been on a low all these while, she stated it was due to her change of name, family and health issues but she didn't explain the details of what led to her change of name from Cynthia Morgan to Mandrita, but on Saturday evening Cynthia went on Instagram live with a mental expert to explain the full details on what led to her change of name a situation that resulted to her depression  .

A haggardly looked Cynthia morgan explains it was down to losing the right of her name to Northside/Square records they went on copyrighting her name, and when she decided to part ways with the label because of their broken promises and mismanaging of her project they stripped her of her name. She said since then she has been suffering because they shut her out her music royalties, Cynthia who’s net worth in 2017 was within $1.5 million cries out that they’ve ruined her dream of making music and doing what she loves best which results in her fighting for her life with different mental illness and how she's left with nothing to feed or survive on from her sweat. A go fund me account has been put up to help her get back on track and start making music back.
